We stayed at the Evanston Hospital for 2 days. The photo with your dad holding you is my favorite. You seem so peaceful :)

Your grandparents, Patty, Leta and Philip and your uncle and aunt came to see you! They were all so excited to see you!

The nurses told us to feed you every 3 hours and your dad and I thought that it would be better for you to rest during the night and we didn't wake you, but that was a mistake because you lost weight because of that (plus because I didn't have enough milk the first days). You were sleeping like a little angel, our little one!

A nurse showed us how to bath you.

Finally, it was time to leave. We could actually stay longer but we just wanted to go home with you.

We looked forward to seeing how Lyla would react seeing you. Since we were away for 3 days, we said hello first to her and then, introduced you to her after she had relaxed a bit. She was curious and kept smelling you. Welcome home sweetie!
